Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Roorkee Business Network ("ROBIN") platform, operated by Sainath Buildcon and Real Estate Private Limited (trading as Roorkee Business Network / ROBIN). By joining or using ROBIN, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

ROBIN is exclusively available to verified IIT Roorkee alumni. Membership requires either:

• Verification of your IIT Roorkee degree, or
• Endorsement by an existing verified ROBIN member.

Misrepresentation of alumni status will result in immediate removal from the network.

2. Use of the Platform

ROBIN is designed for professional networking and business collaboration. By using ROBIN, you agree to:

• Use the platform only for legitimate professional purposes.
• Provide accurate and truthful information about yourself and your business needs.
• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other members.
• Not use ROBIN to solicit, spam, or mass-message other members.
• Not share another member's contact details without their consent.

3. WhatsApp Communications

ROBIN communicates with members via WhatsApp Business API and email. By participating in ROBIN, you consent to receiving messages from ROBIN related to your membership, match requests, and introductions. Message frequency depends on your activity. You may opt out at any time.

4. Introductions and Outcomes

ROBIN facilitates introductions between members based on mutual consent. We do not guarantee any specific business outcome, partnership, investment, or referral. ROBIN is a facilitator, not a party to any agreement between members.

5. Confidentiality

Members are expected to treat all information shared through ROBIN — including business ideas, financial details, and personal backgrounds — with discretion. Sharing confidential information disclosed through ROBIN without consent is strictly prohibited.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity.
• Using ROBIN for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other members.
• Attempting to circumvent the platform's consent-based introduction system.

7. Termination

ROBIN reserves the right to suspend or remove any member who violates these Terms or whose conduct is deemed harmful to the network or its members, at our sole discretion.

8. Disclaimer

ROBIN is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific matching outcomes, or the accuracy of member-provided information. Participation in ROBIN does not guarantee any business outcome, partnership, or investment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ROBIN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any introductions made through it.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ROBIN after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify active members of significant changes via WhatsApp or email.
